Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reserve a home?
Once you have viewed a property, we place a short hold while referencing completes. A holding deposit secures the home while agreements are prepared.
What documents do I need?
Photo ID, proof of income (typically three months of payslips or accounts), and a reference from a previous landlord. We confirm the exact list before you apply.
How long can I rent for?
Standard tenancies run six or twelve months with renewal options. Flexible and temporary stays are available on shorter terms — ask the team.
Are bills included?
Most homes have bills excluded so you stay in control. Selected flexible-stay options come with utilities and Wi-Fi included — the listing states which.
How fast are repairs handled?
Report issues any time by phone or email. Emergencies are prioritised within 24-48 hours; routine repairs are scheduled promptly and tracked to completion.
What will I pay up front?
A holding deposit while referencing runs, then one month’s rent and a tenancy deposit protected in a government-approved scheme. All fees follow the Tenant Fees Act.
Can I rent with a guarantor?
Yes. If income or credit history is limited, a UK-based guarantor can support your application. We explain the requirements up front.
Are pets allowed?
It depends on the home. We consider pets case by case and are transparent about any conditions before you apply.
Do you offer supported housing?
Yes — Deeshi provides housing options for tenants requiring flexible and temporary stays, including supported arrangements. Contact us to discuss your situation.
